"The unique thing about this show is the large numbers people from all walks of life who turn up to watch it," writes Bishweshwar.
Every two years the skies over Bangalore open up to a spectacular display of different air crafts and choppers. Though primarily the show is about the air might of the air force and sellers of such air crafts, but one unique thing about this show is the large numbers people from all walks of life who turn up to watch it. They belong to all classes. From a farmer and his family who cannot afford the minimum Rs 600 ticket (Thank God watching the skies from any point is not charged) to the SUV owning, designer wear wearing family (The Rs 1600 ticket slot) there is room for all. Even for those street urchins perched on a tree, or the many bikes lined along the highway to the airport that passes through the military air base 'Yelahanka'. The pictures you wills see is not much about the aircrafts actually. It's the spirit behind the air show and its return to Bangalore every two years. It's about this city being the aero city of India. With major PSU and other companies working in aerospace, Bangalore is truly one city in India which can proudly say 'Sky is the limit.'
